Joomla 1.5 SEO preparation - the absolute bare minimum

The following are 2 tips that should be done on any joomla 1.5.x site regardless of whether you want to optimize your site for search engines or not.

What this means, is that you left the default tags of your joomla installation, which is nice if your joomla!, otherwise you should remove this.

To do so you go to your admin panel as Super Administrator and under the Global Configuration menu you delete the Metatag data. There is some discussion on whether global tags (tags and keywords that show up on any page) are helpful or not, so you can decide now if you want to add tags and keywords and display the meta tags or hide both author and meta tags.
